A Bit Closer to Home

I have to say that 'Which Way L.A.' really fascinates me and last's nights show, The Homeless of Skid Row should be required listening for all Angelenos (of which I am proud to be one). Get this part:
Last week on skid row in downtown Los Angeles one man smoked crack and another shot heroin in the presence of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. LA Times columnist Steve Lopez also was on the scene, which Police Chief William Bratton calls "the worst situation in America."
Do yourself a favor an listen.

As the the man said:
"They call Los Angeles the City of Angels. I didn't find it to be that exactly, but I'll allow as there are some nice folks there."
