The always indispensable Americablog has some great points about the end of the Miers nomination (but she seemed like such a nice asexual lady!) that we should discuss next week. Many good ones but I point out this one for your consideration:

The GOP just lost all of their Supreme Court talking points. Who in the GOP is going to be able to stand up with a straight face and say "every nominee deserves an up or down vote"? Kiss that talking point good bye.

Indeed. Let's hope the media gets that one as well.
